PALM CITY, Florida (AP). Authorities say they arrested a Florida man who provoked a small alligator to bite his hand and poured beer into the animal’s mouth.

News outlets report that 27-year-old Timothy Kapke and 22-year-old Noah Osborne were charged last week with illegal use of the alligator.

Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation officers launched an investigation in August following a complaint from Osborne who had caught an alligator in Palm City and turned over to Cap. A cap appears in the video to allow the reptile to bite its forearm. The video also shows Kepke feeding the alligator a beer while he fights.
